Friday 3rd October.
Woke up this morning after a really nice night's sleep. A proper bed for a change.
Oh guess what the weather is today.................. Yes it's raining. Something different to report at last.
Time is 6-30am, got up early as we are both excited as today we pick up the keys to our rented house.
Drove to Kadina (9Km down the road) and went to the bank. Withdrew the security deposit and first 2 weeks rent for the house. Walked to the estate agents and did the paperwork. Picked the keys up.
Then we had to think..... Oh we have a house and 2 suitcases but nothing else. So went to the cheap shop. Bought a kettle, cutlery, plates etc. Picked up some lunch from woolworths and then drove to the house.
Had lunch then back into town, bought 2 deckchairs and a blow up matress. Could not get fridge etc as nobody could deliver for at least a week.
Got back to house at 4-30pm and Tracy started to clean... The agents did not get a cleaner in and there was a lot of dust as we are on a building site.

We went for a quick walk around the area where we are living, walked down to the Beach and then back.
We then ate tea, sat down and watched some Tv on the Laptop as we do not have a Tv at the moment... Starting to feel like home already.
As we have no Internet in the house at the moment we drove down to Wallaroo Beach, where we can pick up wireless internet provided by the local Caravan park. Watched the thunder and lightning storm that was overhead.
Got back to house to find we have no hot water at the moment. We put it on this morning but nothing - I am wondering if it is on a time clock and will heat up over-night. We will find out in the morning. Will let you all know......
