Thursday 2nd October.

Woke up to..... yes another sunny morning. Have just cleaned the campervan again, emptied the toilet and got things ready to go. Must return the van clean or we will loose our security deposit, at the moment every penny counts...

Drove to the nearest bank and withdrew the rest of the money for the car. Very helpful lady in the bank. Then drove to campervan people, left van there and walked to car sales place. Picked car up and drove to the campervan. Unloaded all our stuff (did we really bring this much with us)..

Returned van, everything was ok, got our deposit back and were all very happy.

Went and filled the car with gas costing 70 dollars (about 25 pounds) bought some food and got ready for the drive back to Wallaroo (140km)...

We have decided that we will only be going to Adelaide a few times a year as it is too busy, too many people in what they call a small area. We have both been brought up in the country and are glad that is where we are staying.

Drove past the Adelaide Salt Quarry.

Stopped at Port Wakefield and found a little Bakery/Deli (Deli in Oz is like a British corner shop) and purchased a roll each. Got back in car and found a quiet spot to eat it. Very tasty. Took a picture of the local Bowling green.

Got to Wallaroo at about 5-00pm and had to think where we were going to stay??.. We went to North Beach Caravan park (where we had stayed before) spoke to the owner and she said we could have one of their Luxury Cabins for the night (at a reduced rate) wonderful.

Cabin was great, basically it was a 2 bedroomed bungalow, backing on to the beach. Wow what a view.

Decided to have a relaxing night after all the rushing around we had done.

As we have been driving again we have a bit more animal count to add:-
